Luxurious lightness: Dornbracht presents the new Light Gold finish

Iserlohn, 9 October 2024

Lively, light, multi-faceted: Light Gold subtly alternates between cool and warm undertones and integrates perfectly into a wide range of styles. Available in a glossy or brushed version, the new finish from Dornbracht can be selected for several of the fittings manufacturer’s design series, including Meta, IMO, and Lissé.

A light gold tone for modern interiors
Light Gold combines luxurious aesthetics with lightness and elegance for eye-catching accents in modern bathroom interiors. The light gold colour proves to be particularly adaptable: Combined with bright, cool tones, the finish creates a vibrant sense of freshness. Teamed with warmer tones, on the other hand, it exudes clarity, radiance and welcoming comfort. It is also guaranteed to impress thanks to its high degree of resistance.

First PVD finish from in-house production
Light Gold is the first specially developed PVD finish manufactured by Dornbracht. In 2023, the company invested more than seven million euros in a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient production line. The technology complements electroplating and wet paint, or powder coating, and adds new colour schemes to the manufacturer’s curated selection of finishes.

Perfection in all dimensions
Light Gold thus enriches the carefully curated range of finishes by Dornbracht, which are characterised by perfection in all dimensions. Charisma meets beauty; depth of colour meets vibrancy and brilliance. Numerous variants allow complete freedom of design, with colour families ranging from golden to dark shades. In addition, individual finishes are available from 1-unit orders.
At the production site in Iserlohn, the high degree of manual precision work and advanced technologies guarantee the longevity and durability of the finishes. An example of the unparalleled care with which the on-site specialists process the finishes can be found in the polishing shop: While the gloss finishes are polished manually, the structure of the brushed versions is matte-finished. Firstly, all parts of the fitting are brushed individually by hand in a specified direction. If the finish is then applied, the individual particles can settle down into the finest recesses of the brush strokes. This gives the matte Dornbracht finishes their exceptional look and feel, making them truly unique in the market.
